for various fiber arts weaving, knitting, felting, etc. Many farms
combine both breeding and fiber arts into their operation.

Boarding (Agisting):

Ownership of a
farm is not necessary for alpaca ownership. Alpacas can be boarded
(agisted) at an existing alpaca farm and the alpaca owner can profit
from the sale of the offspring and enjoy substantial tax savings.
Livestock investment should be discussed with a qualified CPA.
